this is what my final skirt looks like.

i cut up the back of one of my Tshirts and made a yarn with it. With this i knitted a square panel and used it on my skirt.


these are the seams from one Tshirt we kept them so we could make samples out of them.


this is one of my Tshirts i made. To make our skirts we decided to cut them up and use the material to make samples for our skirts.


some smaller samples of the larger samples i put on my skirt.


i looked into cubism and wrote about what it is


i also liked rei kawakubo's designs and i wrote about them and why i liked them and the things they reminded me of.
i liked issey miyake's work so i looked into it further i wrote about why i liked the designs and what they reminded me of.


i looked at nine fashion designers and linked them into architecture and wrote why i chose them and what i thought they looked like.


i researched the architecture around at the time of ww1

i've developed my skirt designs.


i've developed it further by firstly, gathered a peice of fabric in the middle and tied it with wool. Then by making the edges neeter and rounded the edges and tied it in the middle with the same material.


i liked how in each design idea i did a bow and here i've developed it in different media's.
